Holly Nice and Tyrel Christensen

One particular sunny day Holly decided to go to her cousin’s graduation party at Fremont Lakes. This day happened to be June 9, 2001 and also happened to be the beginning of an incredible journey. Holly immediately noticed Tyrel because he was the cute boy talking to everyone. He first talked to her as she sat on a picnic table chatting with friends. Then they went for a boat ride around the lake and Holly agreed to go tubing as long as “he” went with! Then the very next day they spent the day with Holly's cousin and some other friends going boating on the Missouri River and eating at Surfside. Those two days are unforgettable…

Holly is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Then she went on to nursing school at Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha. She has since graduated and passed state boards. She is now officially a registered nurse. Holly will begin her nursing career in Omaha.

Tyrel is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Tyrel has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and sees his true calling as a salesman. Tyrel spent six years selling educational books and has now moved on to work with Family Heritage. With this company, he is selling supplemental insurance and excelling in every aspect of his new job.

The couple plans to live in Omaha.

The couple plans to celebrate the sacrament of marriage at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska on April 10, 2010 at 2pm.

There will be a reception with dinner and dancing to follow the ceremony at the German American Society.

The Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha is always a fun place to visit. The Old Market in downtown Omaha also has many attractions including a new pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River.
