We can't find anything more to say then, "amazing!" when it comes to Candace and her talent. She really made this event one for the books! She's got an amazing attention to detail and a sharp eye for design. We know you will be in excellent hands when Candace is planning your wedding.
Words from Candace, Lovestru.ck Social Events:
"When initially conceptualizing the design and decor for the Nebraska WeddingDay Launch Party, I wanted to accomplish two things. I wanted to create something that was visually stunning, and I wanted to provide guests with a little behind the scenes information on the magazine and the hard working people who produce it. My inspiration for the warmth I hoped the guests would feel went they entered the venue came from this Campbell's Soup commercial depicting a warm and woodsy theme. With the event scheduled on January 5th, typically a cold time in Nebraska, I wanted guests to feel immediately comforted by the cozy atmosphere of the the decor, food, music and floral arrangements. Ironically, the day was one of the warmest on record, but I think the guests still enjoyed the wintery presentation. My process for styling weddings and events starts with designing the large focal points or feature areas and then continuing the design style down to the smallest details. The Launch Party's design began with recreating a cabin-like family room complete with a fireplace, mantle and mounted deer antlers. The frosted event signage in the windows and the rustic presentation at each catering station was complimented by the final touches of the spice-colored velvet ribbon tied to the favor boxes and the black flannel sashes wrapped around each cocktail table. Ultimately, I want all the elements and details to come together as one appealing presentation."
Special Thanks to: Mark, Beyond The Vine (see our vendor post here) We loved the gorgeous floral arrangements they provided and Mark's eye for design blew us away! We are so lucky to have such talented vendors a part of NWD! Mark made Nomad Lounge sparkle and smell of fresh pine and blossoming roses. We didn't want to leave!
Hats off to: Jessica, Nostalgia Vintage Event Rentals for her amazing inventory of props. When we say she has everything...we mean it! From vintage furniture, details, props and even those adorable mason jars, Jessica will make your wedding one to remember. We are thrilled to be able to work with such talent and love spending time with Jessica(and to see what new, fun things she has added to her collection!) She truly made this event one of a kind.
