Having engagement photos taken is such a great way to capture a little piece of who you are as a couple during this special time of your life. These photos can become just as special as your wedding-day portraits, and may be more prominently displayed throughout your home. Brian and I often forget to grab a photo together, especially during events where we actually find ourselves dolled up, so I was very excited to have a set of professional photos together.
Leading up to our engagement photo shoot, I had made sure Brian got a fresh haircut, booked my makeup trial for the day we would be taking pictures and we picked out different outfits to wear. I knew I would want each outfit selection to lend itself to a different overall feel. I used the guidelines of having a classic casual outfit, timeless formal attire and one look that was more on-trend with today’s current styles. This way, I knew I would love our selections now and for many years to come.
When the time came, we were nervous, but Daniel of The Mullers made us feel completely comfortable and talked us through the experience the entire time. Just moments into the shoot, Brian and I were simply having so much fun! We are so excited to have these great photos to look back on for our entire lives. Plus, having this preview experience has us feeling infinitely more relaxed and excited for the many photos to come on our wedding day!
