As I browsed inspiration on Pinterest and in wedding magazines, one décor detail that continued to stand out to me was watercolor accents - and because watercolor is not overwhelming, it can be utilized in many décor pieces. I like DIY projects and chic styling, but I don’t always have the knack or patience to coordinate a lot of decorative details. I know my style, but putting together all the pieces to achieve the look I want can really overwhelm me. So I knew I had to keep it simple - find décor concepts that gave me a big bang without being complex and hard to find. This is why I loved the watercolor inspiration I came across. It’s dreamy and elegant, but also gives a laid-back and natural look to almost anything without being overwhelming. What I love most about it is that it ties in so well with a destination wedding. Watercolors are a stylish way to incorporate the ocean and its colors while still being sophisticated. Also, it’s a great way to tie in our Caribbean destination wedding with our Omaha reception.
