Gifts for your wedding party, parents, family or guests are a sentimental way to say thank you to those that have helped plan and celebrate your big day. With so many people to think about, if you don't plan ahead, the costs can add up once you’ve purchased something amazing for everyone!
Just like with holiday shopping, you must plan ahead and set a budget! I started to save ideas for wedding gifts in advance so that I could keep an eye out for items I was looking for, or be prepared if a shop was running a special or sale. I suggest putting your ideas together in a notepad on your phone or create a Pinterest board - that way it's always accessible!
But, this is a busy time of year for a lot of people. Whether your holiday shopping, hosting a holiday party or traveling to be with family, that to-do list can definitely get daunting. However, this is a great time of year to start thinking about your wedding gifts. A lot of shops are having holiday and end-of-the-year sales, and right now isn’t the only time there will be sales - they typically happen all throughout the year. Also, it's a great idea to have a game plan so you don’t impulse buy or end up with things that don’t work with your vision. With holiday sales, I’ve already purchased two wedding gifts for a great price, and I have my eye out for things that may become available once spring rolls around!
