Jessica Flores and Joel Dizona share a love of exercise; in fact, it’s what brought them together, as they met through a mutual friend at the gym. Being in shape no doubt helped when they hiked the Manitou Incline in the Colorado Rockies (billed as “the holy grail of cardio for locals and athletes alike”) that ended with a very scenic proposal. Their wedding was an equally scenic affair. The couple celebrated by preparing with family and friends throughout the day, which concluded with a stunning sunset as the backdrop for their outdoor garden venue. Lauritzen Gardens was the perfect setting for the couple, providing the fresh greenery they loved, a natural background for their palette of greens and neutral colors. Jessica was especially pleased with her hometown florist, Bloomworks Floral in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who brought her ideas to life. A favorite detail was the handwritten calligraphy on the escort cards by Miranda Writes.
