The winners were chosen by their peers through an open voting process held online and were revealed at our Best of 2026 Awards on Tuesday, June 16 at The Leo Ballroom in Omaha.

This floral-forward wedding scene exuded whimsical elegance. Designed and planned by Kimmy Ann Events, the romantic concept is a breath of fresh air. Lush botanicals adorned every corner, while flowers in woven baskets added texture along the aisle leading to a circular ceremony site. A standout table configuration introduced a unique reception layout. A true feast for the senses, fragrant florals layered the dreamy tableau alongside patterned linens, blush taper candles and playful paper goods. Each element came together seamlessly to create a romantic design rooted in garden opulence.

This grand confection is the definition of a “labor of love.” Crafted by Love More Sweets, the five-tier masterpiece features a wavy wafer paper design with more than 1,800 individual baby’s breath sugar flowers. Each wafer paper strip was measured, sliced and hand-applied to yield a towering creation boasting a feeling of movement mixed with textural elegance.

With a goal of leaning into the beauty of Happy Hollow Club, 402 Events partnered with Catalyst Event Rentals and Bouquet Omaha to craft a remarkable ceremony design. A wavy aisle introduced a sense of movement, enhancing the alfresco atmosphere, while acrylic ghost chairs allowed the venue and aisle to take center stage.

Carrying her grandparents’ spirit into her own celebration, bride Kayla incorporated meaningful details into the morning of her wedding day. She got ready at a vanity built by her great-grandfather, with a framed photo of her grandmother and her maid of honor preparing at that same vanity placed on top as a touching memento. “Being able to get ready at that same vanity, in our home, was so incredibly special to me and really helped me feel her presence watching over me as I prepared to walk down the aisle to my forever,” she says.
