Wedding Date: October 11th, 2019
The rustic charm of the Ackerhurst Dairy Barn, sporting chic notes of abundant greenery, white florals and gold accents, made Lauryn Nyhoff and Jeremy Mohr’s wedding a romantic melding of Jeremy’s small-town upbringing and Lauryn’s city flair. Their love story has always been a little bit country. The two had been dating for three years when Jeremy purchased tickets for them to attend the Seven Peaks Music Festival in Colorado. “We had the best time,” Lauryn recalls. During country singer Dierks Bentley’s performance of “Woman, Amen”—a favorite of the two—Jeremy got down on one knee to propose. A year later, though the day was cloudy, with a high of 40 degrees, it was a perfect day for Lauryn and Jeremy. They wowed their guests with a coordinated dance entrance to the reception. “We nailed it!” Lauryn says. “And I don’t think anyone was expecting it.” Another personal touch: serving chips, salsa and margaritas during cocktail hour, followed by a fajita bar dinner, incorporating their favorite date-night fare into their special day.
