For Tessa Nelson and Jake Critel, their minimalist barn rustic-chic wedding came to life against the beautiful backdrop of Prairie Creek Barn in Cairo, NE.
Tessa and Jake knew they had met the one from the moment they first crossed paths at a friend's gathering. While getting to their wedding day may not have been the easiest feat, after three postponements due to COVID, Tessa says that saying yes to Jake was one of the easiest things she's ever done.
With a picturesque setting and the photography skills of Tiffany Marie Photography, their day was beautifully captured from start to finish. Before the ceremony, the couple opted for a first touch in order to share a special moment and exchange handwritten cards. They then tied the knot on the venue's lawn surrounded by family, friends, and a gorgeous backdrop.
For decor, greenery garlands, mason jars, and pops of pink filled both the ceremony and reception spaces to tie their wedding color palette into the space perfectly. For dessert, a three-tiered confection was adorned with florals similar to the bouquets and surrounded by additional cupcakes, all provided by Calebration Designs. Guests ended their night by taking home a monogrammed candle presented in a mason jar to commemorate the couple's big day.
