Now that Brian has gotten down on one knee, we figured out where & when we were going to get married and nailed down a general theme to our wedding, it was time for me to do some asking of my own. Popping the question to my bridesmaids, that is! I have always been a lover of gift giving and knew right away I wanted to put together a little something to honor these special women in my life. When putting together my "ask box" I wanted to include:

1. A GIFT JUST FOR THEM: I chose to have a monogrammed necklace made for each girl in the color of jewelry they wear most often. I loved how the mix of silver, gold and rose gold necklaces turned out and smile every time I see one of them wearing it! I attached a personalized note that read:

Laugh with me

Cry with me

Dance with me

Toast with me

Plan with me

Will you be my bridesmaid the day I change my monogram?

2. A PLANNING PREVIEW: I included paint samples of our wedding color scheme so the girls would know the style I wanted for the big day. Since I knew these girls would become who I would be talking with the most about details from our day, I wanted to give them something tangible to show them what I envisioned. Any paint store will let you take as many as you need for free! I loved the pointed edge of the one's I picked up that gave it a little extra detail when I layered them together.

3. A SWEET TREAT: Prep for becoming a bridesmaid should always include champagne right?! I wanted to add a celebratory flair, so I picked up individual champagne bottles to add to the gift. To keep everything coordinated, I wrapped them in metallic card stock and made custom labels that read, "He popped the question, now let's pop the champagne!" The finishing touch was a champagne-flavored macaroon from Goldenrod Pastries, which was luckily enough in the perfect lavender shade to match this wedding-themed box.

Hopefully following those categories will help guide you in putting together something individualized for your bridal party. There are truly so many creative ways to ask your girls to be a part of your big day, included above are a few other ideas I loved.
