On Monday, I will only have 2 months left until my wedding. I’m as excited as I am stressed! This weekend is really going to kick the festivities off, as my aunt and cousin are hosting my first bridal shower. It’ll be neat to better get to know some of Matt’s extended family members as well as have them get to know my family members. It sounds like approximately 45 or so people will be in attendance on Sunday, so it’ll be a fun-filled afternoon for sure! Except…I can’t believe I didn’t think about it until this week as I sat down to write this post, but I don’t have anything to wear!! I am out of town all this week for work, so will likely and unfortunately have to recycle something I already own. BUT, if I had time and money to “waste”, I would DEFINITELY consider buying the adorable yellow dress below!
Since I definitely don’t want to end up in this same pickle for my bachelorette party nor rehearsal dinner, I am declaring the search for a few new dresses officially ON! Is it customary to wear one of your wedding colors to your rehearsal or is that unnecessary? Either way, you can rest assured I’ll be spending my nights at the hotel this week online shopping (as well as searching for a first dance song – more on that next time!)
