I like unique things and Matt likes toys. So that brought me to the idea of using hand clappers instead of bubbles for when we walk out of the church after our ceremony. I ordered them from Oriental Trading Company last week and am in the process of personalizing them with stickers that say “Congrats Matt & Blair” with our wedding date. Aren’t they cute?! (They’re also really loud!)
And the OTC website is really smart. During my purchase, some items were suggested to me that I might also like—and I did indeed like AND buy them! Drumroll please while I announce our wedding favors…dah dah dah dah….SLINKYS! Well, sort of. Look at the picture below. There are multiple colors, and even though none of them are my wedding colors, and they’re a little smaller than I’d hoped, I still love them. I think they’re right in line with the whimsy I’m going for rather than a traditional box of candy. I will likely frame a small sign with a saying something along the lines of “Our love will go on and on and on. Please take one.” Get it – because the toys roll down stairs and keep going.
