I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I can ensure that I look my best on my big day. Part of that decision—a big part—is my hair. I color my hair regularly about every 7 weeks or so and it’s usually always something different. So for the most important occasion of my life, do I stay light, go back naturally dark, or somewhere in the middle? Ahh…decisions, decisions. Maybe the masses can help. Here’s my hair a few different ways – let’s take a vote. Write in votes for other colors welcome, too! The next dye job is in mid-September so I’ll take suggestions until then!
Then, once my hair is ready, I need to get the rest of me up to par. I am already currently re-enrolled in Kosama Omaha workout classes and they are just as intense as I remember from this past Winter! Getting up at at 4 AM to workout 6 days a week for 8 weeks isn’t exactly ideal, considering I’m already stressed and exhausted from wedding planning, but this program works! Kickboxing, plyometrics, oh my!
Still, these things are only half the battle. I also have my skin and teeth to think about! I read on a previous NWD blog about a Sephora cleanser and concealer that sound like they could be a good investment. Can anyone else vouch for this stuff or have any other miracle creams to ensure flawless complexion? I’m thinking about also booking a facial for myself; it can’t hurt, right?! I figure I may as well also add a whitening kit to my shopping list. I haven’t heard good things about Crest Whitestrips from my former bride friends both in real life and in the blogosphere, so I’ll be picking up an Aquafresh tray...unless anyone else has anything else to suggest?
I also need some advice on best tips for keeping makeup, hair, teeth looking great all day on the big day. I know to bring blotting papers so I don’t look shiny in photos but what else should be in my bag to bring?
Six weeks to go and so many little things to prepare!
