My father was my first great love and loss - he passed away eight years ago. Through his life lessons I've learned to hold my ground, trust, give and love. We will be honoring him at our ceremony with a candle in his memory, his photograph and wedding ring on my bouquet, cigars at the reception, by playing some of his favorite songs and having a toast in his honor. My something blue will be my eyes, as everyone says I have my father's eyes. It's hard to imagine this day without him, but I know he will be there in spirit.
