For the past 9 months, the wedding has consumed my life. I've tried to keep it in perspective that the marriage is what is important and not the wedding. As we started looking for a house, I've realized that the home we build together is more important than the house itself. We lucked out and found a cute little house that needs some cosmetic updates and lots of love. Our real estate agent was simply fantastic and helped guide us through this process so we could still focus on wedding stuff. We close within the next few weeks, and naturally my mind has jumped to renovating and decorating. The good thing about the timing is that we can always put a few of these decor items on our registry since we have a few more months (and a couple of showers!) before the wedding.
