My future mother in law e-mailed me this week to let me know that they have booked the Minden Country Club for our rehearsal supper. The Minden Country Club recently had a major renovation done and it looks amazing!!! We will be in the upstairs room that has windows all along the east side overlooking the golf course—which is beautiful during the summer. One of the things we liked best about the Minden Country Club was that we had the option of bringing in some of our own food. My fiancé comes from a large Lebanese family and they have some of the most delicious food, so we were excited knowing we would be able to have some of our favorites during this special occasion.
Over Thanksgiving my mom and I planned out many of the wedding DIY projects we plan on tackling while I am home over Christmas: card box, chalkboard frames, silverware, etc….it is going to feel great getting those projects checked off my list! I also can’t wait to share pictures and stories from this DIY adventure—I am sure it will be entertaining to say the least! I also took advantage of Black Friday/Cyber Monday to get some of my wedding gifts purchased, I could not pass up some of the cute items on sites such as Etsy.

Sorry for the lack of photos and inspiration this week—I am at a point in my planning where I am setting up lots of appointments for when I am back home in December and sorting out small details. I can only begin to imagine how busy I am going to be around this time next month…I cannot wait : )
