This past Sunday I went to the Central Nebraska Bridal Expo at the Kearney Ramada Inn. There were so many vendors there, two whole ballrooms full!! Even though I have most of my major items done; venue, photographers, DJ, it is nice to see what other things I may have over looked. My main objective by attending the expo was to find a possible cake baker—and I happily walked away with many different options. The best part was being able to taste so many delicious cupcakes in the process!!
While at home I also went to the Bridal Isle and ordered my bridesmaid dresses. When I arrived at the store I still had no idea what color I wanted the girls to be in (if you remember from here I was thinking eggplant or marine) and ended up loving the teal color after seeing the color swatches, hopefully my bridesmaids like it. Now that I have finally set that in stone I’m going to start looking for some jewelry to compliment the dresses.
My mom and I also worked on a couple centerpiece ideas. They still need some adjusting, but I feel like we are on the right path. My mom had also found a picture frame on Pinterest that she thought we could recreate and use on our guestbook table, so we got a discounted frame at Hobby Lobby, spray-painted it with some left over paint we used on my card box, and tied a bow. I think it turned out pretty good if I do say so! The flash from my camera makes it look much brighter than it actually is.
Hope everyone has a good week!
