Let's face it, it's inevitable. Seconds after your sweet engagement moment, you become the most popular girl in the room. When Nic and I got engaged, we felt like we had so many options when it came to choosing our wedding location that we both became very overwhelmed. We could get married in my hometown in Nebraska, up in Minnesota where Nic's parents live, in Illinois where Nic lives now or in Lincoln where our love story began! How were we going to choose?
Initially we were drawn to the idea of getting married in Chicago, but after doing my homework, it soon became evident that getting married in Nebraska would give us the most bang for our buck! From there, everything started falling into place. We decided to book the church we attended together in college and stumbled across a beautiful bed and breakfast outside of town with a renovated barn for our reception!
