Guys, I'm getting M-A-R-R-I-E-D!
These past few weeks, the reality of our wedding has been starting to set in. After having a longer engagement, it's hard to believe that our time as an engaged couple is actually coming to an end. In a few short weeks, I'm no longer going to have a fiancé, but a husband!
To help prep for our life together, I've had countless friends (and even our priest) suggest we read The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. I have to admit, I'm so happy I followed their advice. Reading Chapman's book was a great way for Nic and I to deepen our connection and understand one another before our wedding. Being able to show affection in a manner that is meaningful to your partner is a vital part of your relationship. It also helped us realize that there is always something new to learn and discover about each other.
