Typically, when we think about wedding fashion, our focus revolves around the bridal gown and the bridesmaid dresses. While each of us wants to feel like a princess on our wedding day, that doesn't mean our groom doesn't also want a little extra attention on the big day too!
My advice to each of you - Take the time to sit down and talk to your groom. See what he envisions wearing on your wedding day.
If he's anything like my other half, he has NO IDEA, but that's perfectly okay! Nic and I had so much fun spending a day in downtown Chicago over the summer browsing men's suits and tuxes to get inspiration for his attire. Going into it, I knew that I wanted to see him in a navy tux. Navy has slowing been gaining speed in menswear, and without a doubt, it is going to be the trendy new color in formal wear for the next few seasons! Nic on the other hand was a little leery about the color. He originally thought he wanted a nice deep charcoal. However, by the end of the day, I had to fight Nic to get him out of an electric blue Calvin Klein tux. Let's just say, I wanted to say I told you so!
Overall, there is a navy tux just waiting for that man in your life! Whether he is drawn to the more traditional nautical navy or a more fashion-forward electric navy, there is a navy option available for him.
