In my opinion, guest books at weddings are a must! They are a great reminder of who was there to help you celebrate your special day. The fabulous thing about the guest book in today's world is that it doesn't have to be the traditional book where guests just "sign in." There are so many fun and creative ideas to engage your guests in your marriage by having them contribute their name or well wishes to a unique item that you as a couple can look at for years to come. I have always loved going to weddings where guests sign a photo album of the couple, leaving notes alongside the images. I think that is what Nick and I will do! Some other creative guest book alternatives that I have seen include: having guests sign or leave their thumb print along the edge of a framed engagement photo, having your guests replace their place card and exchange it with a Polaroid taken that night, or creating a framed heart tree, where your guests sign their names on the leaves. The ideas are endless!
