There are so many amazing photographers these days, which makes this step a little difficult for me. Since we had a photographer there when we got engaged, we are opting to forego any additional engagement photos. Therefore, it is somewhat hard to book a photographer for a day that is so important to you when you only see some samples of their work without the benefit of getting to work with them on an engagement session. I wanted a photographer that would be able to capture our personalities, would be great with children and would take the photos we want. Ultimately, you have to go with your gut and with the photographer you had the best connection with during your initial meeting. We finally decided to go with a photographer that a family friend had referred us to, and we are so excited to see how they capture our big day!
