Oh, what I would do to be some place warm right now! The cold of winter has me dreaming of our honeymoon. We originally wanted to go down to the Caribbean, but with our wedding in August and hurricane season falling in that same time frame, we decided that probably was not a good choice. Next up was Europe - while that sounds AMAZING (and definitely on my bucket list), we decided that after all of the wedding planning was over we would want to relax and enjoy ourselves and not be on the go! So, we settled on the wonderful island of Maui, Hawaii.
You can't go wrong with Hawaii - the beaches are beautiful, there are so many things to do and it definitely is not a trip we would take on a whim. It would have to be for a special occasion or for a specific reason, and what a perfect reason we have! Now that the trip is booked, the planning of what to do while we are in Maui begins! Do we island hop? Do we stay put? Do we jump on a helicopter ride or go deep sea fishing? The list goes on and on, there are so many activities to chose from! I am so glad to have checked our honeymoon off our to-do list. Now I have an excuse to buy summer beachwear in the dead of winter!
