The craziness of the wedding planning has definitely set in! One day it seems like I have it all under control and the next, I have about a thousand things added to my to-do list. Thankfully we still have time, but not much! The past couple of weekends have been filled with showers, getting our marriage license, choosing our wedding bands, stuffing and sending out invitations, looking at programs and spending time in Kansas City with my family. While they were visiting, we went shopping for mother of the bride dresses and wedding party gifts, looked at photos for the rehearsal video and had a bridal shower.
One of the larger items we have just been able to check off our to-do list were the programs. I knew I had wanted them to be made by the same company that designed and printed our invitations and luckily, we were able to meet with the designer to conquer that task. What I didn't know was that we would also be choosing the escort cards and other various paper goods that we would have at the reception. It's crazy how many little details you tend to forget about!
Our paper goods designer is so wonderful and helped us select the perfect layout for our wedding-day style. The hardest part was writing the copy that would be on the program, which only ended up taking a few minutes. I am so excited to see them when they come in!
