Our guest list is evenly split between those who are based in Omaha and those who will be visiting from out of town. Many of those who are coming from out of town, however, are within driving distance. We are very lucky to have such supportive family and friends coming from near and far to celebrate with us in Omaha. Because they are traveling to be here on our wedding day, we want to ensure that they have a great time while visiting. One way I plan to ensure they feel welcome is to provide welcome bags that will be waiting at the hotel upon their arrival. I always love when we are guests at a friends wedding and they provide welcome gifts, so I would like to return the favor!
There are so many cute ideas for how to fill the welcome bags. My favorite items are those from the local area in which they are getting married or favorite items from the couple's home town. It adds such a personal touch to the wedding! I also love when the couple includes a card with a list of their favorite things to do in the city they are getting married.
