I’m feeling pretty good about a recent purchase I made on champagne flutes. I really was awestricken by these Swarovski crystal-filled flutes, but at $390 for the pair, I thought I should probably do some more shopping.
I ended up purchasing this set from Dillard’s for about $50 instead. They still have the simple sparkle that I liked, sans the giant price tag. J
After I’d made my purchase, I did end up stumbling across the 1st set again on ReceycledBride.com. This time, they were listed at $250, but I’m still pretty satisfied with the purchase I made instead.
If you haven’t already heard about it, RecycledBride is a pretty sweet virtual marketplace for pretty much all things wedding-related, from attire and accessories, to invitations, gifts and décor. I’m definitely a bargain-hunter, so this site is quickly becoming a must-visit on a regular basis. Some interesting info on their website from the US Census and the Bridal Association of America:

- The average wedding budget is estimated to be $20,000
- About $70 billion is spent on weddings every year in the US
- A newly married couple’s average income is $55,000 annually
