Hello NWD readers! My name is Danielle, and I am so excited to share my wedding-planning process with each of you over the next eight months. Nicholas, my fiance, and I met while we were students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am living in Lincoln getting my Master's degree, while Nic is working out in Illinois. We are so excited to get married and finally live in the same state, let alone the same household! Staying true to the roots of our relationship, Nic and I are getting married in Lincoln on May 21st, 2016. When I think of our wedding style the words romantic, timeless and elegant come to mind. While our ceremony will be very formal and traditional, we truly want this to be an event where our guests can relax and have a good time. That is why we have chosen a beautifully renovated, early 1900's barn for our reception. We have a lot of family that will be traveling all across the country for the wedding, so we want them to be able to mingle with one another and truly become family.
