This summer will be full of diy projects and wedding prep. One project I think I'd like to start on soon is my wishing tree. At Hillcrest Country Club, there's a front entry that has plenty of space to showcase a large wishing tree for guests to leave notes to hang. I think it will look great but also keep guests entertained as they grab a drink and some appetizers. The photo below gives a general idea of what I'd like, but I plan to have my Dad build a square box, stain it and use moss and rocks at the bottom to hold the branches.
For the tags, I found this great pink stripe twine with basic square tags. I want to have a stamp created that reads, "Love is..." for guests to finish the sentence. On the back, I will leave space for addresses and contact information. Later, I will file them away in a box to keep.
