I am the youngest of three girls and recently had the pleasure of being the co-maid of honor for my sister, Kate, at her wedding. I was so excited to help her plan her wedding day, but it also was a great learning experience for me. There were so many things that I loved on her day, but there was one in particular that I want to copy for my own.
Instead of getting ready at a hotel or at the church we got ready for my sister's wedding at my parents' house. I didn't initially think I would want to do this for my own, but it ended up being the perfect way to start such a beautiful day. We were all together in one spot and got a chance to relax before an event-filled day. I can't wait to begin my wedding day surrounded by some of my best friends and family in the comfort of home.
