I recently moved back to Omaha from California and let me tell you I might not have been gone that long, but I am having a tough time adjusting to the cold Nebraska temperatures. I miss the days when if it dipped below 60 in the afternoon people were bundling up. I'm sure I will get used to the weather again, but in the mean time I've been restocking my coat collection to make sure I stay cozy in style.
Another way I've been escaping the cold and dreery days has been to start thinking about our honeymoon. Let me start by saying, I am not planning our honeymoon - that job is up to my fiancee. We decided that because I am doing a lot of the leg work for the wedding, he will handle the honeymoon. And heck why not make it a surprise? Well it will be a surprise for me at least. Which means I won't know where we are going until we are at the airport. It also means I will be packing blindly with the help of a friend and my sisters. And while he likes to joke that I should pack lots of layers for a cold climate (I hope it's a joke) I can't resist googling all the beautful beaches and cities that we could possibly visit. So take a break from the slush and snow and enjoy looking at some of my top honeymoon choices.
