The invitation is the first thing a guest sees when it comes to your wedding. Even though they will end up getting thrown in the trash it is important to have an invite that sets the tone of your wedding and it is equally important that the invite is easy to read and understand. I have seen many cute invites that are creative and fun, but at the end of the day most people just want to know where to be and when.
We decided to focus on the typography of our invites. Since one of our wedding inspirations is "The Great Gatsby" I am searching for a font that evokes the same feel that the title on the cover of the novel has. We also like clean and simple, just black and white with perhaps a liner on the envelope for a pop of print or color. I haven't found quite the perfect one yet, but here are the great options I have found so far.
