There are times where some of the big picture items just fall into place and other times that they are extremely difficult to decide on. Details can be the same way, but for me that's what I have the most fun doing. It's the little things that can make a huge impact at a wedding and it's typically those personal touches that make someone's wedding memorable. For me one of the details I have wanted since the beginning of the wedding planning process has been to incorporate lanterns. It's a great way to bring the outdoors in and many of the best backyard parties I have been to included candlelight, and on occasion, lanterns. They are warm, inviting and when the reception is over we can use them to light up our own backyard.
