We are 3 weeks from the wedding and it still hasn't hit Tyler and me! Just the other day we were talking about these next 2 weekend plans and looked at eachother in disbelief that our wedding was so soon. As the day gets closer, that means I have even more meetings with vendors. Luckily, I love my vendors so meeting with them is enjoyable because we are planning the wedding AND they are a blast to be around.
Monday night we met with A Sound Impression to go over our DJ and Video agendas. We seriously covered everything, and I value their team as a crucial peice to my reception. Our DJ, Kurtis, is so professional and fun and I know he will keep our dance floor hoppin'. Cali, the owner and videographer, is also extremely professional and talented. Her work blows me away, and excitement is an understatement for how I feel about seeing our wedding video! For me, the timeline was one of the hardest things to remember and create. I trusted my DJ and reception coordinator 100% when advising me on times of events. This weekend I plan to write it all down and print it out for my wedding party to have. I think that will help me feel on top of everything!
Yesterday we had our final meeting with Kim at HillCrest Country Club. We covered everything from the drink selection, to dinner, to who is providing the linens and decor. I have enjoyed Kim's knowledge and easy-going attitude throughout my wedding planning process. She's so easy to be around, she's calm, cool and collected and exactly what I need to keep me from getting anxious. I can't thank her enough!
This weekend I plan on putting the bridemaid gifts together. I also plan to print all paper goods and create my DIY wishing tree. I hope to have a fun DIY tutorial for next week! Until then, I'm taking one day at a time and enjoying these last few weeks as a bride!
Oh and can we all keep our fingers, eyes and toes crossed for these sky-high temps to drop?
Cheers!
