The registry process started out with the two of us going into a store and picking things out together. Then it turned into my mom and I going into a store together to spare my fiance additional shopping. Finally, it has ended with me picking things out online on my own. I guess I had this vision of registering where it's this one day event just filled with shopping and picking out pretty items to start your life. There's a little bit of that, but it's mostly just checklists and editing.
It is tougher than it seems to pick out an array of fun and practical items in a wide price range and has ended up being much more tedious than I ever thought. However, we want to do it right so we end up with durable, timeless classics that we will use and love for years to come.
So on my second edit of our registry I am being much more practical, you only get to do this once after all. I included a few of my registry items that are both pretty and practical.
