I am a big fan of snail mail. Who doesn't love getting something unexpected among all your bills and junk mail? When it came to asking my bridesmaids, I thought what better way to do it than by sending a lovely note in the mail. I found this great link for a DIY Mother's day card and decided to tweak it for my bridesmaids. The steps were easy to follow and I just made a couple changes once I started playing around. The supplies were simple: watercolor set, a few brushes, watercolor paper, an envelope and envelope liners. I made a trip to Michael's for the majority of the materials and ordered the envelope materials from paper-source.com (If you haven't been there check it out, they have wonderful paper goods). This was fun card making idea that was easy enough to recreate with some of my leftover supplies for another special occasion. Enjoy your week!
