Joshua and I just did our engagement photos - it was so much fun to be on the other side of the camera for once! Here are some PRO TIPS that I give my own clients (and of course which we followed ourselves) to make the experience SO MUCH FUN! 1 / Wear outfits that you're confident in ... it'll help you be yourself! 2 / Colors to consider ... burgundy, navy, yellow, light brown - a little color gives a rich look to your photos so avoid plain black + white or bold neons. 3 / Layer up if it's chilly, which will help you naturally accessorize your look - add a scarf, hat, jacket, vest ... boots are always a cute option! 4 / Add a bit of jewelry - not too much, but at least a few details so close-up shots are interesting. 5 / Imperfection IS perfection - you don't need every photo to be posey-posey. Just be with each other and relax. Be silly even! 6 / Arrive dressed and ready to go so that you make the most of your photographer's time.
