As Joshua and I wrap up our wedding planning, I thought it would be fun to share our plan for keeping our guests engaged and entertained at our event. We came up with a few unique activities that we're excited to surprise our friends + family with on our big day!
[1] Barber Shop > my groom and his guys will spend the morning hanging out at the barber shop (with a catered breakfast and all!), while the girls and I are at the salon ... great bonding time for all! [2] Cheers > as our guests arrive, they will be greeted with a WELCOME! bellini cocktail to kick the night off right [3] Let the Games Begin > a variety of yard games will be our main cocktail hour entertainment [4] Riding in Style > a limo stocked with complimentary bottled water will be at the ready to shuttle guests to and from the parking lot to the event [5] DIY Guest Videos > instead of signing their names to a traditional guest book, we'll have a digital guest book for our friends + family to film their own personalized message to the newlyweds ... it'll be so much fun to look back on! [6] String Quartet > live music adds ambiance and makes a wedding feel like a live concert! [7] Live Painting in Action > we'll feature a local painter during our ceremony and cocktail hour, starting as we arrive under a willow tree for our vows and finishing into the evening so guests can watch the magic unfold onto the canvas While these ideas work great for our intimate garden wedding, they may not be ideal for every event. I hope this sparks some creativity in you to challenge yourself to think of some more neat ways to make your own wedding a memorable guest experience!
