Jonathan and I just finished a class offered through our church called Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts. We really enjoyed the class. It was such a great way to talk about all of the topics that come with a marriage such as: finances, fighting the good fight, the gender gap, and what each expects out of a marriage. We put together a mission statement that our church is framing, and it will be on display as the guests walk into our ceremony. If it is not required that you take a similar course, I highly suggest looking into one as it was so valuable for us. It will definitely help kick start our marriage in a positive direction as we have already tackled some of the difficult conversations.
