Spotlight

We had a big weekend of wedding planning this past weekend!  On Saturday, we went to get tuxes at Tip Top Tux. What a great selection they have, and the staff was so helpful! I think Ryan enjoyed talking about his attire for the wedding for once. Ryan, all the groomsmen and ushers, and the ring bearer will be in black tuxes with white shirts. Ryan has a white vest and tie; the groomsmen will have light purple vests and ties; the ushers will have silver vests and ties; and Brayden, the ring bearer, will have the same as the groomsmen. I think the light purple in the groomsmen's vests will complement my girls' dark purple dresses so nicely! I can't wait to see it all come together!

Our next stop was Target, to register. We had fun with that!  We registered for some larger items, like a Blu-Ray player and a digital camera, because sometimes people like to go in together and get a bigger gift. We also registered for the usual--towels, decor, and kitchen items. We're also going to register at Bed, Bath and Beyond; and I think Ryan is going to register for some items at Home Depot.

Next on our Saturday list was engagement pictures at Pioneers Park with Brad from Townsend Studio. It was my crazy idea to have pictures taken in the snow. It was freezing, let me tell you, but we already got the proofs back and they are great!  He did have us do snow angels, which was the coldest point, but the pictures are really good, so it was worth it. We brought our puppy, Brix, with us for some shots, and they turned out so great!

That was the end of wedding planning on Saturday.

On Sunday, we went back to my parents house to look through old pictures of me for our slideshow. Ryan had fun with that! It was a little payback from when we looked through his old pictures. We all had some good laughs looking through them! It was a full weekend, but we got a lot accomplished and had fun doing it. The wedding is less than 4 months away, so it's crunch time! I just hope everything keeps going so smoothly!
