The countdown has officially begun! We have about 3 weeks left to get everything in order, and it's still going good!
We are working on the rehearsal dinner invitations now and will hopefully get those in the mail by the end of the week. Our rehearsal dinner is at Lazlo's in the Haymarket, and we need to let them know a week ahead of the date what everyone wants to eat, so we need to get the invites out so that we can get all the information to Lazlo's.
Last weekend we met with our event coordinator for the reception at the Grand Manse. Her name is Shelly and we got along great and I'm sure the day will be perfect! Shelley showed us what the layout of the room will be for the reception and we chatted about lighting and other details as well.
I had my final dress fitting last week and a few minor alterations still needed to be done. It will be done this Friday and I'm really excited to try it on one more time before the wedding!
My friend and bridesmaid, Sara Klein, is doing my hair for the wedding and we are going to do a practice run this weekend or next. I can't wait to see how it turns out! I got some hair extensions to wear because I think that will add fullness and body to the curls, and then I think we are going to pull it half back somehow. I am on the lookout for a pretty hair clip or something to wear in my hair as well.
There are so many fun details and I am so lucky that everything has fallen into place! :)
