First it was rice, and then it was bubbles, but now there are many creative ways to congratulate the bride and groom as they exit their ceremony site. I am not a fan of bubbles because they are predictable and sticky so I chose to make wedding wands for our guests to wave as Josh and I exit the church. I purchased wooden rods, gold bells, champagne ribbon, and lace ribbon to create the wands. The wooden rods will be painted gold to match our wedding colors. This is definitely a project that consumes some of your time, but it is worth it! I am planning to get all of the pieces organized and then invite my mom and sister over to help assemble!
