Perfect for a bridal shower or bachelorette party, tissue paper is an inexpensive way to add some fabulous decor and accents to your space. We created some simple place cards, drink stirs, bunting and invitations from just a few sheets of colored tissue paper. The best part? It's a perfect project for everyone, regardless of your crafting skills!
To create the seating cards we used tissue paper and card stock. Follow these directions to craft yourself several beautiful cards for guests to enjoy!
After cutting several pieces of paper to fit the measurements above, grab some double-sided tape and scissors to begin!
1. Tape the smallest card stock piece to the green tissue paper.
2. Cut slits around the edge of the green tissue.
3. Tape the green tissue paper to the teal tissue. Cut the edges to the edge of the green tissue.
4. To give the card additional structure, tape the largest piece of card stock to the back of the teal tissue paper.
For the adorable frayed invitations, use the same process as the seating cards!
We printed out a 5" x 7" invitation on white card stock, keeping the text on the top 1/3 of the page. Gather extra tissue paper, scissors and double-sided tape to create this adorable invite!
1. Cut 5" x 1.5" strips of tissue paper. Cut 1" slits from the bottom across the sheet.
2. Tape each strip down on the uncut top, starting from the bottom of the paper.
3. Layer each tissue strip to the desired width.
4. Secure the final piece and enjoy your charming creation!
