From our Creative Director, Megan: This summer I am throwing a backyard ice cream soiree for one of my dearest friends who will be saying "I do" this July. I wanted to give her a simple, fun and interactive shower that her and her fiances friends could enjoy. I love the idea of preparing chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream scoops in mason jars prior to the evening and have them ready by sitting in an ice pale. I plan to have a long table outside full of different ice cream toppings for everyone to enjoy. I plan to have our yard games and firepit out for later in the evening and I plan to encourage guests to bring "date night" themed gifts. For example: a blanket, basket, bottle of wine and two plastic wine glasses for an easy picnic. I am having a hard time deciding one last thing: stripes or a pretty floral print for the decor?
