We have been brainstorming, dreaming and planning our Lovestruck Event display. To say this event and the talent behind it has inspired us is an understatement. This event is guaranteed to be truly unique and engaging with an incredibly talented group of ladies hard at work making this day one to remember!
Lovestruck was founded by Candace Kalasky, an event stylist and wedding planner who marries her love of organization and passion for design to create unforgettable celebrations for a broad range of clients. In 2010, she teamed up with Lesley Pick of Inclosed Studios and Megan Hunt of Princess Lasertron to share her vision of creating a new conversation about weddings in the Midwest. With an intense love of design, DIY culture, and appreciation for elegance, we are passionate about bringing our trademark personality, accessibility, and charm to event planning.
We want guests of the Lovestruck Event to be able to interact with the best vendors in Nebraska, so we've hand selected the best in the business to showcase their products and services in nontraditional ways.
The Lovestruck Event is based on this mindset:
What if those polyester draped tables were taken away and brides and their grooms could connect with vendors who really went above and beyond to make their weddings perfect? What if couples could feel the stationery, experiment with the decorations hands-on, and touch the dresses to visualize it all as part of their big day? What if they could eat the food, taste the champagne, dance to the music, and experience a host of creative new ideas to celebrate with their loved ones? What if you could leave a bridal fair feeling inspired, energized, and confident that you can plan your perfect wedding without sacrificing style or your budget?
Lovestruck is Omaha’s first wedding show created for the modern couple, to provide inspiration for the wedding of their dreams. Created by three of the area’s top wedding vendors, the inaugural Lovestruck event in September will bring magic, simple beauty, and explosive creativity to brides in the Midwest.
The event will be held on September 30 at The Bancroft Street Market in Omaha.
