1. This has been one of my favorite wedding photos for a long time! There is movement, emotion, drama, warmth, grace...everything that makes a photograph lovely and timeless.

2. Carl Zoch is one of my favorite photographers. His straightforward style is very distinct, and very inspiring! I love the sunset light in this photograph, and this bride's bouquet mirrors the sun in a lovely way. I always try to get a few minutes with my couples at the golden hour for photos like this one. I hope every bride takes time to have at least a few photos taken in the magical gleam of evening.

3. It's so beautiful to see family relationships woven throughout the wedding day's events. This photograph with the couple and their parents kissing makes me so very happy -- I wish I'd thought to get an image like this when I got married!

4. This bride had a beautiful vision for her wedding-day look. Her gown was silvery and sparkly with long sleeves, and she wore a brown fur stole. Her bridesmaids were also given fur wraps in various styles. Her style was glamourous, but still understated, with a warmth that glamour doesn't often carry. I love when brides break out of the traditional look, and wear things that they find purely beautiful.

5. Hanging candlelights lend a soft, romantic feel (and this idea is also feasible and very adaptable for many locations!). I am in love with hanging lights of all kinds, whether invididual ones like this ceremony, or strung across an outdoor reception table. You can make your look as dramatic, glamorous, or rustic as you want!
