Modern Fairytale Comes to Life with Fairy Lights and Disco Balls at The Bohemian Gardens

Once upon a time, when Ciara Maciel moved from California to South Dakota in middle school, she met Nate Spiegler. However, it was their senior prom that brought the two together for a decade-long romance, a sweet prelude to their marriage. “Fairytale” is the word that the couple used to describe both their relationship and wedding. And that fairytale was brought to life at The Bohemian Gardens in Omaha, a venue boasting lush flora—the perfect backdrop for their ethereal wedding. The aisle formed a tunnel of greenery leading to a clearing in the garden where the couple said, “I do.” The ceremony was romantic and intimate, with personal handwritten vows read aloud from books placed at the altar. Ciara and Nate had their wedding guests participate in a ring-warming ceremony, asking the guests to hold the rings and infuse them with love, blessings and wishes. The bridal party wore a variety of bright hues and carried vivid floral bouquets that matched the whimsy of their dresses. Ciara was the very picture of a fairytale romance in a tulle ball gown with off-the-shoulder puff sleeves and veil featuring a ruffle hem. The reception was illuminated with a warm ambiance from small table lamps and flickering taper candles. Fairy lights and disco balls were strung throughout the trees, casting an amber glow over the dance floor.
