Katie Alford and Chase Reis’ love for travel, fun and good food forged a playful and adventurous bond they wished to reflect during their sunny wedding day at Bella Terre Vineyard. Opting for a color palette as vibrant as their personalities, the green expanse of the venue was peppered with vibrant orange, pink and deep red structured stems, while satin ribbons in the same palette billowed in the breeze, framing the al fresco aisle.
Guests were welcomed Italian style, with “Ciao!” written on bright lemon-yellow striped signage that echoed the invitation suite. Katie radiated elegance down the aisle, wearing in a simple white gown with lace detailing, a bold pop of color on her lips and fun floral flats. Under the September sky, the pair immediately celebrated becoming husband and wife with fruit-flavored frozen treats with their bridal party.
Leaning into the European flair of the space, the indoor reception was marked with postcards the couple had collected in Italy, mini marble busts and the fragrance of fresh basil wafting from the cheeky tomato cans at each table. String lights warmed the celebration as they laughed and indulged in Italian fare. The star of the show, however, was their good boy, George, whose presence was a joyful addition not only throughout the wedding day but also in his likeness on top of Katie and Chase’s custom cake.
