A mix of texture, metals and earthy elements amps up the simple color scheme. Tall, dark tapers contrast with Wax Buffalo candles with the bold white X. Glass bottles are the understated vessels for arrangements of roses, ranunculus, fringed tulips and anthurium, while fresh-cut pomegranates add a splash of natural color against the black table runner. Sophisticated leather-accented chairs complete the modern-meets-classic vibe.

Making a grand entrance, our bride beams with anticipation in the silk cloque “Michelle” ballgown by Antonio Gual. Her bouquet is a monochromatic masterpiece of fiery florals tied together with a flowing mix of ribbons.

"Located in the Rail‭ & ‬Commerce Building in Omaha’s Little Italy neighborhood‭, ‬Café Postale blends modern concepts with reimagined historic elements that are a nod to the building’s past as a postal railway transport hub‭. ‬The careful preservation of historic features like the vintage vault door imparts a sophisticated ambience to the venue‭." ‬—‭ ‬Emily Carlson‭, ‬Event Venue Sales Manager of Café‭ ‬Postale

The invitation suite by Wandering Heart Paper Co. continues the textural focus with deckle-edge paper highlighted with hints of gold leaf. Classic calligraphy on the envelope balances the clean sans-serif font in the rest of the suite.

The crew at Café Postale crafted these his and hers cocktails — a Café 75 (their signature strawberry version of a French 75), and an espresso martini. Whether as table décor or a favor, the bold design and tantalizing scents of the Wax Buffalo candles make a striking statement piece. Funky flatware, a dark gray fabric charger and a subtly shimmering napkin make the high-contrast table settings sparkle.

The distinctive character of amaranthus, orchids, rabbit’s tail and anthurium creates interest in the single-color ceremony arrangements by Rose Joy.

Her smile says it all, with a crimson lip to match the hues of the day. A closer look at her chic gown reveals a subtle raised floral pattern.

This confection by The Cake Rendezvous brings the drama, with ruby-red pomegranate seeds spilling from the striking tier of black and gold.

Ready for an evening to remember, our bride wears the beaded lace “Lena” gown by Lis Simon, topped with an extraordinary feather capelet by Linda Richards from For The One Bridal.

"Café Postale invites guests to soak in the historic charm of‭ ‬the former Burlington Mail Terminal‭. ‬Featuring a restored observation gallery and archival photographs‭, ‬Café Postale exudes vintage charm and invites guests to step back in time‭." ‬—‭ ‬Emily Carlson‭, ‬Event Venue Sales Manager of Café‭ ‬Postale
