After spending a semester in Spain and catching a serious case of the “travel bug”, I am thrilled to be back working behind the scenes with Nebraska Wedding Day Magazine. Born and raised in Nebraska, I am quickly (perhaps too quickly) approaching graduation at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Marketing and Spanish.
My favorite wedding style: I’d have to say, never being married, but someday when I’m a bride-to-be., my wedding style will fall somewhere along the lines of vintage charm: Romantic, woodsy, rustic, and slightly Italian inspired.
My favorite time of the day: Sunset! I love a good ole Nebraska summer sunset. Whether I’m taking my dog for a run or BBQ-ing with friends and family … sunset always seems to be the most relaxing and enjoying time of my day.
My favorite accessory: Sunglasses. I never leave the house without them and carry multiple pairs in my car.
I love weddings because…It’s a special day celebrating the love of two people, as it gathers families and friends from all around to eat, drink and make memories that last forever. And let’s be honest…I love weddings because it’s the one place you can dance your pants off all night long!!
My ideal vacation: Would be somewhere adventure, sunshine and beach bum all intertwine! I am thinking…Costa Rica! Beautiful tropical beaches, endless adventure, natural wonders galore and indigenous culture…what’s not to love?!
