In a small-town bar in Crete, Laurel Sunneberg and Cameron Duba’s fates were sealed the night they met at Cam’s high school reunion. “I saw his dimples and was totally in,” Laurel says. The whole bar got together to set the pair up, and after a whirlwind romance, Cam surprised Laurel in her office conference room with scattered rose petals and a room full of balloons, some of which spelled out, “Marry Me.” Following a rainy morning in August, Laurel and Cam said “I do” on a sunny afternoon.
The bride focused on royal blue and blush as the color palette, and for their flowers, chose light pink and white with hints of greenery to let her show-stopping wedding gown stand out. The couple also included their beloved pup, Louie, in their photos, who sported a matching bowtie for the occasion. While some brides tell tales of woe when planning their wedding, Laurel felt quite the opposite. She and her mother did most of the planning. “I really enjoyed all of it. I would do it again!”
